Counseling Support During Covid

Renton Area Youth Services RAYS) and Sound Mental Health (SMH) are both offering Virtual Counseling Sessions for any student who qualifies for Medicare.

Teen volunteers are trained to listen to your concerns and talk with you about whatever’s on your mind – bullying, drug and alcohol concerns, relationships, stress, depression or any other issues you’re facing.

Washington Listens Hotline:

The state of Washington has set up a new resource called Washington Listens that is aimed specifically at people who are experiencing anxiety or other emotional issues connected to the COVID-19 pandemic. Visit the Washington Listens website, https://www.walistens.org/ or call the support line, 1-833-681-0211. It is available from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. 

24 Hours Crisis Line:  

Provides immediate help to individuals, families, and friends of people in emotional crisis at any time of day or night.
